Its competitive success was achieved in two stages : Firstly, a strategic alliance with Roxane enabled Castel to develop the Cristaline brand at home and abroad and to become the French market leader in the bottled water sector.

The second stage involved developing a market for heavily mineralised waters with health-boosting properties.

Today Neptune has a wide portfolio of unconventional mineral waters and has become a leading authority on minerality.
Of particular note are Rozana with its high magnesium content, Courmayeur, famed for its slimming properties, and St-Yorre and Vichy Célestins, which both contain minerals scientifically proven to aid digestion, recovery and rehydration.

And finally, Castel broke new ground by introducing for the first time functional waters under the brand names of St-Yorre and Vichy Célestins.
