Castel

It all started
with wine trading...

The Group started life as a traditional wine merchant’s business in France and Africa. Other strands were added over the years, and have now been pared down to a core group of specialisms, notably as a leading producer in France’s greatest wine regions.

In addition to an acknowledged leading position in the still, and recently also sparkling, wines sector, Castel is recognised at home and abroad as a major player in the beer and soft drinks arena.

They are a leading authority in each of these core strands : in the wine sector, for example, Castel are present to monitor every stage of the process from vineyard to sale.

And whether as property owners, winemakers, bottlers, wine merchants or even retailers, the men and women who make up the different faces of Castel all share the same drive, passion and overriding quest for excellence.
